It may not be perceived to be one of Liverpool's most charismatic postcodes, however, with an exciting regeneration project led by a collaboration between Liverpool City Council, Liverpool Football Club, Your Housing Group and Keepmoat, it is definitely about to become one of the most sought-after postcodes in the city.

With Liverpool FC’s stadium in its vicinity, the eyes of the world are often on Anfield, from the thousands of tourists who visit to see a game to the reporters who line up outside the famous gates to report on the club’s successes.

It is with this world attention that has led to the regeneration of the whole neighbourhood that surrounds the ground. This involves adding new retail units and space for bars, restaurants and street food vendors to open up, creating a whole new dimension to the area that has not been seen before.

Five Reasons to invest in Anfield

1 The scheme to regenerate Anfield is set to cost an estimated £260 million, pumping millions of pounds into the local area. 2 With just a 10-minute drive to the city centre and lower house prices in comparison to other areas of the city, it is the perfect location for first-time buyers and young professionals, as well as property investors.   3 The new high street, which has plans for commercial and retail units, is the perfect place for budding entrepreneurs to set up businesses alongside big-brand names, set to be attracted to the area by Liverpool Football Club building a new retail store.  4 The plans to regenerate the area include to build new homes and to refurbish the traditional terraces which have stood for over one-hundred years, creating affordable homes fit for 21st century inhabitants.  5 Wider pavements and plans to introduce new green spaces to the area makes Anfield a very attractive place for those looking to start a family or move to a more family-friendly area.
