Venmore are pleased to announce we were the only estate agents to win two awards at the Your Move Property Awards 2011.

Not only did we win Best Property Website but we also won the Contribution to Fundraising / Community Award.

We were delighted with this award as we have been huge supporters of charities this year and this has given us even more drive to raise even more in 2012.

We are delighted with our Awards and will be hoping we can do the triple next year!

Venmore Go Pink For Breast Cancer Awareness!

13 offices of our Estate Agency Group, held a successful Wear It Pink event for Breast Cancer Care’s Pink Friday campaign on October 28th, raising a whopping £903 on the day, for the charity!

Our offices, including Venmore, Bradshaw Farnham and Lea and Ball and Percival, encouraged companies to donate gifts for their charity raffle, which included a pink bouquet from Liverpool florist Fishlocks and a goody back from Cricket Clothing and a Pink Signed Everton Shirt.

We also went one step further by turning their iconic red branding on their website to bright pink for the day.

“Pink wigs, feather boas and costumes were the rule for the day” commented Maria Barrigan, Business Development Director who was delighted at the turnout at all the offices.

“As well as enjoying seeing everyone in pink dress up, we hope that this will help remind everyone to attend regular breast screenings, as early diagnosis can save lives. We are delighted that we raised so much money and a huge thank you goes out to all the people who came along and showed their generous support.”

Venmore Lettings Continues To Thrive!

In the Venmore Lettings department we expect the summer months to be hugely busier than other times of the year but 2011 was in a league of its own...

Darren Kay (Residential Lettings Manager) said "Looking back at the last few months here in the letting department at Venmore, it all seems a bit of a blur! The reason for this is because of how busy it has been. We had a fabulous month in June, letting a large number of properties and set a new company record which we were naturally very pleased with. July was also a very productive month with a superb number of properties let. Then August decided to hit us like a steam train! Not only did we hit another company record, we actually blew it out of site, letting a tremendous 98 properties. September again was superb and even though the heights of August were not hit, our targets were beat and we ended the month feeling extremely satisfied with the month’s figures. I would like to thank my colleagues, Jennifer, Natasha, Lucy, Hayley, Natalie, Lynsey, Ashleigh , Lawrence and Stefanie for their hard work, organisation and for making the last few months enjoyable and rewarding."

Merseyside Landlords Expo A Huge Hit!

This year Venmores sponsored the Landlord Exhibition which was organised by Your Move Magazine.

Our staff were dressed for success in our bright red trade mark, we offered customers the chance to win a bottle of champagne by having a basketball game with us, we fed the exhibition with our chips and overall the day was very successful for us.

The most essential part of any exhibition are the follow ups after the show of everyone we have met. We are still continuing to work with these customers who didnt realise how easy and hassle free it was to change management companies and use us. We met some very interesting people and with the work we are continuing to do we feel the exhibition was very sucessful for us.

Wimbledon themed launch a success!

Over 200 people celebrated the official opening of our Liverpool Head Office with Pimms, Prossecco and Peroni during Wimbledon Finals week.

The Venmore customer service team donned their red T shirts and delivered a perfect service of canapé’s, cocktails and cheer,

The event was relaxed with the tone for the evening set by Sean Styles of Radio Merseyside with an irreverent view of the retail sector's fiscal troubles.

A big investment in technology, environment, advertising and training is beginning to pay dividends.

The new office has got off to a flying start with over 80 new properties let during June from the new office, a Venmore record.
